Recipe: Beetroot Crostini
Beetroot Crostini

Take your appetizers up a notch. Try mixing together gourmet ingredients and create something delicious and original, perfect for an after work nosh or a light, pre-dinner amuse bouche.

This recipe for Beetroot Crostini with Herbed Goat Cheese & Toasted Walnuts is complements of Oliviers & Co. You can pick up any ingredients you need to make it The Kitchen Table and Oliviers & Co.

Ingredients
  • 1 French baguette, cut diagonally into 1/2" slices
  • O&Co. Mantinea & Avia olive oil
  • 1 jar O&Co. Beetroot Delice
  • 1 log of soft goat cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup toasted walnuts, chopped

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
In a single layer, arrange bread slices on a baking sheet.
Drizzle with O&Co. Mantinea E Avia olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
Next, spread each crostini with O&CO Beetroot Delice.
Then combine together softened goat cheese, chives, and drizzle of olive oil. Layer with the herbed goat cheese, and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
Garnish with extra chives.
