Join artists Nada Sesar-Raffay and Diana Menzies for a talk-and-walkabout tour of their holiday exhibition, Chromatic Shifts, currently on display in the FCP Gallery and continuing until January 12, 2012. Together they’ll discuss their respective practices and unique approaches to colour: Nada’s sweeping areas of color layer upon one another to create a kind of topographical labyrinth, whereas Diana manipulates the painted surface by literally pushing paint at different intervals, creating an elasticity that alludes to a landscape in motion.
